This Genuine adhesive strip is the perfect adhesive for iMac A1418 21.5" 2017-2019 models, recommended to use when opening or repairing the iMac and resealing the screen.

Removing the display requires cutting through the adhesive around the perimeter of the screen. After the adhesive is cut, it cannot be used to re-seal the display in place, so you'll need to apply a new set of adhesive strips.

These adhesive stickers are designed for A1418 2017-2019 and will NOT work for A1419.

Please beware of cheap stickers that were not intended for these screens as they cannot be sure to 100% hold it in place! 
 
  • VHB (Very High Bond) display tape repair kit for the 21.5" iMac ranges.
  • Please Note: Removing and refitting the display on this range of iMac is not recommended without previous training or knowledge, as it is a difficult job to undertake. VHB strips are a very thin layer of foam between two self-adhesive plastic strips. A special tool with disposable cutting disks is used to cut the foam layer when removing the display and therefore this kit will be needed each time the display assembly is removed and refitted.
